I got photo speed ticket of 47mile in 35mile zone in Arizona.
It shows my car plate but my face is unclear, hard to see eyes, nose, and mouth…
How can I dispute the ticket?

WAS PULLED OVER COP SAID I WAS GOING 70 IN A 55 I SAW THE RADAR AND THE COP CONFIRMED THE RADAR DID NOT SAY 70 IT SAID 69, HE THEN PROCEEDED TO WRITE THE TICKET FOR THE 70 HE SAID I WAS DOING AND NOT THE POSTED AMOUNT ON THE RADAR. I HAVE ASKED FOR A TRIAL.

I mean moneywise.

I was pulled over today for 49 in a 35. There are no speed limit signs on the road I was on. The cop said that the speed limit was 35. Do I have a chance to fight the ticket?
The area I was pulled over was industrial with some buildings and a field.

i got pulled over for speeding, i was doing 80, and thats what it says next to actual speed, but it says my cited speed was 65? does that mean she gave me a break? or am i just hoping for nothing?

Ok, I was driving 96 on a 70 mile-per-hour free way. My ticket says that I can’t take a defensive driving class b/c I was going more than 25 miles above the speed limit. But it’s my first offense, so do I still have chance to take defensive driving class? What should I do? and also, will my insurance go up too? Thanks!
I don’t plan on fighting the ticket, b/c I know I was speeding…breaking the law. I was going home from college for the first, I guess I was too excited. I’m ashamed about how fast i was driving, but i really don’t have the $300, being a college student. Do you think if I just go to the judge and plead guity really sincerely, he/she will reduce the fine?
Well, I prefere not to get a lawyer, b/c i know i was wrong. Why fight it if I even know that i have no chance of winning? And yes, i know i should slow down, and trust me, i DEFINATELY will in the future. I’ve been driving a couple of years, and never got a ticket until now. Also, thanks to some of you that really gave me some good answers, and to the rest: I know I’m wrong, I know it’s selfish, I’m sorry about what I did, I understand this is a good lesson for me. but this is not a ethical question.

I was driving down the road in San Dimas California the other day, and my speed limit was 50mph which was the posted speed. I approached one of those your speed is solar signs and then all of a sudden there was this bright flash, like someone took a picture. Like I said my speed was 50mph, the solar sign said my speed was 50 mph and the posted speed limit was 50mph. Can I get a ticket from one of those signs/camera. What was that thing?
It was a one lane road, and no one was around.

If you ask the officer to show the speed to you on the radar that they claim do they have to show you? Who’s to say that I really was going the speed that they say? Does it vary by state?

Id like to avoid having points on my license. I have a clean record. Is there anything I can do my mail like plead guilty, pay the fine but not have any points on my lic. so as not to affect my insurance rates. Id really like to do everything by mail if I can. however what are my options, if any? Not getting points on Lic. is my main goal. Thanks for your time.

Some details that may affect your answer:
-This is my second ticket within a year
-It occurred in Illinois, and I am a resident of Illinois
- It was on a five lane highway where the posted speed limit is 55, but realistically, everyone goes 70 or more.
- I was in a pack of cars that were all going about 80, and I simply got picked out.
- I felt the police officer was quite rude and curt with me.
- I am a fairly new driver who grew up overseas, and therefore was exposed to a different culture that takes a different attitude towards speeding. (this is a long shot, but maybe this angle could generate some sympathy)

I know that if the officer doesn’t show up, he is violating my 6th amendment right to face my accuser, and the case will most likely be dropped.

I also heard that I can invoke my 7th amendment right to a trial by jury because the case involves more than 20 bucks. If I do this, it”ll supposedly be too expensive for the court to continue to prosecute me, and they’ll drop it.
